BEEF 2024 in Rockhampton is fast approaching! We’ll be located in the Tech Yards at T19, and look forward to catching up with you there. One lucky visitor who correctly guesses the soil organic carbon percentage of our soil sample will WIN an iPhone 15 valued at $1,499!
There’s no doubt that Carbon and Data will be hot topics at BEEF 2024, and we can’t wait to participate in the program of events. On Tuesday 7th May our CEO Ashley Silver will be joining the “Don’t get bucked off by data – a simple approach” panel, presented by Farmbot. The session runs from 9:45am – 11:15am at James Lawrence A, with tickets available for purchase here.
On Thursday 9th May at 1pm, join Col Feilen, Head of Commercial – Atlas Carbon and Amanda Young, Grazier and Consultant – Atlas Carbon; for a free Lunch and Learn Session on the NBN Tech & Innovation Stage. The topic is “Carbon Project Myths Busted” – we welcome you to come along and pitch any carbon project myths you would like us to bust!
We would also like to welcome you to meet us at our booth T19 in the Tech Yards for a one-on-one discussion about soil carbon projects and grazing management technology. Col Feilen, Amanda Young and our Customer Success Manager Pip Krafft are looking forward to seeing you there!
Other events we recommend at BEEF 2024 include:
RCS Case Study Stories Seminar
Hear from producers involved in the Drought Resilient Soils and Landscapes Program, supported by MaiaGrazing, as they share their experiences in building regenerative, resilient and profitable grazing systems. We look forward to hearing these graziers share their stories about reducing and managing risks, and how MaiaGrazing helped them make data-informed decisions and plans, in the varying climates of northern NSW and southern QLD’s rangelands. It’s a free event and we hope to see you there! Register here. More information about the Soil and Lands Program can be found here.
Property tours
BEEF 2024 property tours highlight producer operations across a range of land types and management styles, showcasing innovation and best practice within the Australian beef industry. Three MaiaGrazing customers will be hosting tours on their properties at BEEF 2024; Lake Learmonth and Mystery Park on Monday the 6th May, and Coolum on Thursday 9th May. If you’re keen to learn directly from graziers about optimising your grazing management, we recommend checking them out! Tickets and tour details can be found here.
