We have great admiration for the resilience, strength and adaptability of our farmers in challenging times, but as impact of these recent fires has shown, good management cannot always protect from the extremes of nature. People are in need of help but often don’t know who to ask.

We have been inspired by customers like Andrew Freshwater, who recently offered to take on livestock from fire affected places nearby as donated agistment.

We applaud this great offer during exceptional times, and are being approached by others reaching out to either offer assistance or asking for help, so we have found some resources that may be useful in this challenging time.

Similar to Andrew’s offer the Victorian Farmers Federation have set up a facility to connect farmers who would like to provide or are in need of agistment. We have also found some other livestock and recovery services that you may find useful.

We will monitor for other emergency agistment noticeboards in other states and update this article as we find them. Please contact our Support team if we can help in any way during these difficult times.
