Making Great Grazing Decisions
Recently, I joined MaiaGrazing’s Bart Davidson and Mystery Park’s Ainsley McArthur on a webinar - The Right Call: Critical Decision Making for Profitable Grazing. During the session, I challenged the “old way of thinking” by underlining how good decision-making is key to good management. A summary of what we covered includes:
- How to find confidence in decision-making
- What impact our decisions have on the land, livestock, business and people
- The key elements of decision-making: meaningful information and goals/direction
- The importance of converting data into information that can drive profit, such as using MaiaGrazing for grazing plans and forecasting
- The 6 principles of Regenerative Grazing
There was also a range of questions asked during the session. I’ll update this blog post with responses to them soon.
